A brand of Matlı Food Group of companies, Burdan Egg, participated in the event organized by Yum-Bir, Egg Producers Union, held in Ankara, attracted great interest.
Located in Karacabey, Bursa, Burdan Egg company produces eggs in its modern facilities, having the first and only global food safety standard certificate of British Retail Consortium.
Participated by about 400 producers and other supplying industry representatives, the summit was organized by Yum-Bir, the union of egg producers.
In her assessment about the event, Yasemin Eren, marketing director of Matli Food Company said that her company has the latest technologies in their farm and has the latest biosafety applications backed by a heavy R&D activities and quality feeds.
She said, “We fed birds with hundred percent vegetal feeds. Production process is controlled at 38 points and it is the first and the only plant having halal certificate issued by TSE and Authority of Religious affairs besides the certificate of BRC. The plant for packaging eggs also operates in conformity of hygienic criteria imposed by HACCP. Our company ranks at tenth in world egg production and second in egg exports from Turkey. We work hard to improve our ranks in the world.”
