A hinged lid dust hood is mounted to the floor chamber with quick release clamps and is equipped with an internal baffle and vent for efficient dust collection. A support tray allows operators to make manual splices from hand-held sacks before discharging material through a grid made of strong rare earth Neodymium-iron-boron magnet material.The self-contained dust collector is equipped with an automatic reverse pulse filter cleaning system with a stainless steel air tank with 99.99% collection efficiency for materials with a particle size of 5 microns or larger.
Solenoid valves, by periodically spraying short compressed air alternately inside the cartridge filters, remove the dust accumulated from the outer filter surfaces without loss of efficiency. The unit’s elevated height allows for gravity dumping of accumulated powder into mobile bins, drums or other containers for disposal or reuse in certain non-dairy applications. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X enclosures and wash-grade motors allow rapid sanitization using steam, cleaning solutions, and high-pressure water.
