According to 2021 export data, Ak Gida-Icim Sut ranked first in the category of Milk and Dairy Products. Receiving the award on behalf of Ak Gida-Icim Sut, Trade Director Tolga Hisarlıoğlu said, “Our goal is to add value to the national economy by increasing our share in global exports.”
According to the 2021 export data announced by the Istanbul Exporters’ Association, Ak Gida-Icim Sut ranked first as the company with the highest export value in the “Milk and Dairy Products” category. Ak Gida-Icim Sut exports its products to approximately 23 countries in 4 continents.
Ak Gida-Icim Sut, which produces the most milk and dairy products in Turkey and is the largest producer of the sector with its 6 factories; It exports approximately 20 thousand tons of products per year, from milk to cheese, from ayran to pudding and milk powder. After the approval of export of milk and dairy products from Turkey to China in 2020, Ak Gida-Icim Sut became one of the first companies to export to China in its sector with the export of whey powder used in snack products. Also, this year, it succeeded to be the first company to export labneh and fresh cheese products to the Spanish market in the European Union.
Commenting on the export data, Ak Gida-Icim Sut Trade Director Tolga Hisarlıoğlu said, “We export a large proportion of our exports to the Middle East and Caucasus countries.
