In a strategic move to serve the growing US market, FPS Food Process Solutions (“FPS”), a global leader in turn-key freezing and cooling equipment, announces its second acquisition in Michigan as FPS’s new US Headquarters effective March 30, 2022.
The 140,000 sq ft facility will support and grow the US market as a strategic location to provide US-based manufacturing, fabrication, and service. The additional expansion comes right after the acquisition of its wholly owned 12,000 sq ft Parts and Service Centre announcement in February 2022.
“This investment is a significant step to show our commitment to our US-based customers as well as continued support for our global divisions and affiliates,” says Jay Loy, General Manager, FPS USA. “Expanding our manufacturing in the US strengthens our service and support while securing our position as the global leader and number one choice for the market.”
While the facility is undergoing renovations, FPS USA currently provides fabrication, service, and aftermarket support with expectations for production to commence before end of 2022 and full manufacturing in early 2023.
