Investments Worth Billion Dollars in KOSB

KIRKLARELI (IHA) – The private sector investments in the Kirklareli Organized Industrial Zone (KOSB) for the year 2014 have exceeded $1 billion.
While Farmatek Ltd. has been building medicine production facility, Kirklareli Gaz Enerji is installing A 530 MW combined natural gas cycle power plant at the KOSB; as for the value added of the facilities which have come to the groundbreaking stage expected to be high.
Performing a great breakthrough, Sanset Gıda Turz. San. Tic. A.S. has added power to the power of KOSB installing a chocolate and ice cream production facility on an area of 170 thousand sq meters at KOSB.
According to the statement from KOSB, Kale Iplik has launched the production on an area of 110 thousand square meters with 150 employees. Arven Ilac is getting ready for production on an area of 30 thousand square meters employing 200 employees.
BiyoTeknik Sanayi will become a facility to produce veterinary medicines on an area of 13 thousand square meters. The construction for dairy products of Atesoglu Süt San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. is underway on an area of 28 thousand sq meters. Ucler Metal San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. has come to the stage to start the construction for aluminum metal processing facility on an area of 13 thou sand sq meters.
Fidan Kimya Teknolojileri San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. is maintaining the assembly of pigment production facility, the preparations for the production has come to finishing stage.
