Istanbul to host Starch World Mideast a premier meet focusing on starch derivatives, sweeteners and polyols

Starch World Mideast (starch derivatives, sweeteners and polyols) which opens on 4-5 November, 2014 in Istanbul is put together to draw industry attention to emerging opportunities in starch food & industrial markets in the Middle East.
Against the backdrop of Middle East being the highest growth area for the food and drinks industry in the world and a big market for halal products, the summit kick-starts with a ‘Global overview of the sugar economy, trade and how this impacts the markets for starch-based sweeteners in the Mideast region’ by Simon Bentley of LMC International Ltd.
