Gonmisol and K. Patel Join Forces to Bring Ayurvedic Wellness to Europe

Gonmisol (Productos Químicos Gonmisol SA), part of the SuanNutra Group, and one of Europe’s leading providers of science-backed functional ingredients, proudly announces a strategic partnership with India-based K. Patel Phyto Extractions Pvt., Ltd. This exclusive agreement grants Gonmisol distribution rights across Europe and UK for a curated portfolio of science-backed Ayurvedic botanical extracts.

The growing global demand for Ayurveda-based nutrients in the USA, also supports the decision to make selected botanical extracts from the K. Patel line available to SuanNutra USA for commercialization in North America.

The two companies will work together to create new Ayurvedic solutions, with the initial focus on women’s health and metabolic wellness. The market for these two trending health categories is currently experiencing a significant proliferation of natural solutions.

K. Patel Phyto Extractions, headquartered in Mumbai, India has been a leader in phytoextracts since 2005. The company’s extensive range of herbal extracts, phytochemicals and food ingredients is backed by rigorous scientific validation, and produced in state-of-the-art, GMP-compliant, USFDA audited facilities with an extraction capacity exceeding 6,000 metric tons annually.

Ayurveda heads west

Gonmisol commands a vast repertoire of naturally sourced ingredients, including botanicals, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. The exclusive distribution agreement with K. Patel will enable Gonmisol to further expand its offerings with a new Ayurvedic edge by incorporating natural botanicals from the traditional Ayurvedic portfolio harnessing the companies’ complementary potentials.

Through the new partnership, Gonmisol will gain access to a comprehensive range of scientifically supported Ayurvedic extracts. Each extract is meticulously standardized to guarantee potency and consistency and has been chosen to conform to the leading wellness trends in Europe.

Examples include such acclaimed women’s health centered botanicals such as shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), fenugreek, as well as green coffee, triphala, gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre), ginger and curcuminꟷ all developed to satisfy the demand for natural botanically derived metabolic aids. Shatavari is gaining traction as a phytoestrogenic adaptogen supporting estrogen balance, libido, and emotional resilience and Fenugreek for postpartum recovery, and female metabolic balance including concerns related to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

While Ayurveda-based products were traditionally niche, increasing acceptance under EU regulations and EFSA health claims are facilitating rapid expansion of this movement within the European market. The global Ayurvedic supplement market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 9.9%, reaching USD4.7 billion by 2034 according to Future Market Insights. Women’s health, weight balance, and metabolic function are topping the charts as primary health categories: Consumers are actively seeking natural support for hormonal health, menstrual regulation, perimenopause, fertility, and libido.
