Termotécnica, a leading packaging solutions company for agribusiness, especially for fresh fruits and vegetables, has released its 8th Sustainability Report (2023/2024). The report consolidates progress in circularity, decarbonization, and people development, reaffirming the company’s commitment to ESG principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

- Circularity: More than 51 million kilograms of post-consumer EPS recycled since 2007, equivalent to filling nearly 11 Maracanã stadiums.
- Innovation: Launch of DaColheita Bio, a biodegradable and renewable packaging made from plant-based raw materials, designed for organic produce.
- Agro Exports: Over 1.7 million DaColheita/FarmFresh boxes used to export 7,500 tons of fruits to markets including Canada, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East.
- Climate Action: Commitment to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and recognition with a “B” rating by CDP in climate change and water security.
- Energy & Waste: 99.3% of energy from renewable sources and the launch of a Zero Landfill Program.
Driving Innovation in Agribusiness
Termotécnica has expanded its EPS conservers line # – FarmFresh brand for the international market -, recognized for thermal performance and functional design, reducing food losses and ensuring efficient logistics. New models include ventilated boxes for premium strawberries and a multi use cooler with improved ventilation and lighting.

ESG Commitment with Global Standards
Aligned with the UN Global Compact, the Global Plastics Treaty, and recommendations from the World Circular Economy Forum, Termotécnica continues to strengthen its ESG strategy. Its materiality matrix prioritizes Circularity & Decarbonization, People Development, and Business Longevity.
The company also works internationally through the Global Packaging Alliance (GPA) to ensure recycling logistics in Europe and participates in the Air France-KLM Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) program to cut carbon emissions in logistics.
Investing in People
Termotécnica increased the share of employees under 29 years old from 23% to 33%, promoted around 10% of its workforce internally, and achieved strong results in its organizational climate survey, especially regarding diversity and non-discrimination.
