Whereas number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 9.6% in December compared with the previous month with 95 million units, and increased by 1.6% compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of the slaughtered turkey increased by 65% in December compared with the previous month with 592 thousand units, and decreased by 9% compared with the same month of the previous year. With the realized 163 thousand 337 tones, chicken meat production increased by 9.8% in December compared with the previous month, and increased by 2.5% compared with the same month of the previous year. On the other hand turkey meat production increased by 13.1% in December compared with the previous month with 4 thousand 380 tones, and decreased by 13.5% compared with the same month of the previous year. According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted series; chicken meat production increased by 1.6% compared with the previous month. According to the calendar adjusted series chicken meat production increased by 2.6% compared with the same month of the previous year.
