Taiwan is an export-oriented vigorous industrial economy. Boasting a vigorous export economy for more than half a century, Taiwan has enjoyed a reputation for quality-guaranteed products. In the recent years, industries of various fields such as agriculture, seafood, processed food, food flavoring, healthy food, bio-tech, pharmaceutics, cosmetics, and so on, have applied for Halal certification. There are around 1,000 Halal product manufacturers in Taiwan to serve the vast Halal market. Taiwan manufacturers endeavour to meet the demands for healthier, safer, and more hygienic products, which have been successfully exported to the global Muslim market. Thus, a very good foundation has been laid down for Taiwan’s Halal Industry to exploit.

Organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the Taiwan Halal Center has been instrumental in leading Taiwanese Halal industry players in expanding their presence in the global Halal market. Taiwan Halal Center teamed up with 15 well-known Halal manufacturers’ brands from Taiwan such as Heysong, Grape King, Royal Family, Shih Chen, TenArt, etc. The first-ever livestream Taiwan Halal products launch is going to be held at14:30 pm (Taipei time) on 3rd June, 2020 to introduce their premium Halal products, including processed food, beverage, health food, bio-tech and skin care products. In addition to the Halal certificate, most of these manufacturers also receive HACCP, ISO, and other international standard certifications able to produce and supply all kinds of relatively products with excellent and stable quality, often catered for different markets.
