Indomie Türkiye, one of the most preferred noodle brands in the country, has completed the wheat harvest—an essential link in its production process. In line with its collaborations with local farmers operating in the Thrace region, the wheat needed for the 2025 season has been harvested and included in the production process. This reflects Indomie Türkiye’s “from field to table” production philosophy. Through strong partnerships with local farmers and a highly hygienic, automated production line, the brand continues to build a holistic model that ensures both food safety and transparent production.
Indomie, one of the world’s first instant noodle brands, has focused on local production in Türkiye since 2010. Operating from its factory in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, Indomie Türkiye sources 70% of its raw materials from farmers in the Thrace region. This enables the company to offer high-quality products while supporting agricultural production, contributing to local development, and generating employment. Emphasizing that its success is not only built on taste but also on a safe and sustainable production philosophy, Indomie Türkiye continues investing in the future with modern production lines that operate without human touch, rigorously applied quality standards, and environmentally conscious technologies. With long-term collaborations with local suppliers, contributions to the regional economy, and sustainable farming practices,
Indomie Türkiye is developing a production model that meets not only today’s needs but also those of tomorrow.
“We Aim to Preserve Tomorrow’s Resources While Improving Today”
Commenting on the importance of the wheat harvest within their production approach, Indomie Türkiye Factory Manager Onur Özkan stated:
“A significant portion of the raw materials we use is grown through the efforts of our farmers in the Thrace region. We transform this labor into product in our production lines that operate without human touch and under top-level hygiene standards. Owning Türkiye’s first noodle production line where no hands touch the product is a great source of pride for us. Seventy percent of our raw materials come from local suppliers in Thrace. With a monthly production capacity of 330 tons, we produce an average of 1.232 billion noodle packages per year. This production volume clearly shows how integrated we are with Türkiye’s consumption habits and how we have become a trusted brand at the dinner table. Over 60% of our employees are women. This ratio reflects not only our approach to production but also our commitment to equal opportunity and social sensitivity.
We rank among the top five out of 50 Indomie factories worldwide. This success stems from our trust in local resources. Our emphasis on domestic production, sustainable agricultural practices, and long-term collaborations with farmers boosts product quality and directly benefits the region we operate in. Moreover, through production models designed to protect our natural resources, we fulfill our environmental responsibilities. From recycling processes to water and energy efficiency, we are working toward a more conscious production structure in every area and aim to preserve tomorrow’s resources while improving today. At Indomie Türkiye, we act with a deep sense of responsibility, commitment, and transparency at every step that brings the bounty of the land to the table.”
