Quorn expands its lunchtime menu by introducing new vegetarian sandwich fillings

The UK’s No. 1 meat free brand¹ is launching three delicious new Quorn Sandwich Fillers, to expand its bestselling chilled lunchtime offering

Forming part of Quorn’s wider vegetarian Deli range, the launch will include Chicken and Sweetcorn, BBQ and Tikka. Available in Asda stores from the second week in October.

Made using Quorn mycoprotein, the super protein at the heart of Quorn products, the delicious Sandwich Fillers are packed with flavour and based on popular mainstream meat options.

Cheryl Graham, Licensing Manager at Quorn Foods UK, said: “After the success of our Deli range, we couldn’t wait to further expand our lunchtime range. The market for Sandwich Fillers is worth £125m annually2, but penetration is low, highlighting a great opportunity to reach new customers and drive sales with different and exciting vegetarian options”.

“With the launch of our new range of Sandwich Fillers, we’re confident that Quorn can drive this penetration up, attracting new and existing meat free shoppers looking for on-trend flavours across this popular meal occasion.”

Taste and affordability continue to be important considerations for shoppers. The taste and texture of these new products have been carefully perfected to provide a simple and tasty swap for consumer favourites, as well as being great value for money.

“As financial pressures remain a concern for consumers, we know that they are looking to prepare more meals at home. We’ve expanded our sandwich solutions to ensure we’re catering to more people across all occasions, further helping drive our mission of creating healthy and sustainable food for the people and the planet,” adds Cheryl.
