As of 1 October 2025, Herman Ermens, President of FrieslandCampina Ingredients, will step down after an extraordinary 42-year tenure with the company. Succeeding him is Anne Peter Lindeboom, who presently serves as Managing Director of Innovation within the Ingredients division.

His passion, integrity, and unwavering commitment have shaped both the Ingredients business group and our broader corporate culture. We wish him every success in his retirement.
“At the same time,” he continued, “I’m thrilled to appoint Anne Peter Lindeboom to helm FrieslandCampina Ingredients. His comprehensive industry knowledge, proven leadership, and collaborative spirit make him perfectly suited to guide the division into its next phase of growth.”
Throughout his career, Ermens held numerous roles across the Ingredients group, transforming it into a cornerstone of FrieslandCampina’s strategy. Under his guidance, the division has delivered high-quality, science-driven, customer-centric solutions that boost profitability and enhance milk value for our member dairy farms.
Following his retirement as President, Ermens will remain active as Chair of the Governance Board of DFE Pharma—a joint venture specializing in lactose-based pharmaceutical excipients—and will hand over that role to Lindeboom at the end of 2026.
Lindeboom brings over 12 years of FrieslandCampina experience, including leadership in innovation, commercial operations, and supply chain management. As a member of the Executive Team, he will report directly to the CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.
